IDS X 64 CID Connection and programming
How to connect the wires from the panel dialer to the radio RING and TIP
Take 2 wires (green and yellow) and connect them to the LINE IN onto the panel dialer. Connect first the green on the left and then the yellow on the right. Connect the green wire R (RING) onto the negative on the RDC CID Radio, and then the yellow wire to T (TIP) on the RDC CID Radio
Use cabtyre 0.5 for positive and negative from the battery connector BTE7 Battery extender to the radio positive and negative connection
How to program the IDS X64 Panel for CID (Contact ID) reporting
Go to the following Locations in the programming
1. Enter programming mode by pressing *9999* (default)
2. Press 41 then * and press 5 then * (For Contact ID option)
3. Press 51 (Partition 1) then * and press 1 2 3 4 then * (For Telephone number)
4. Press 61 (Partition 1) then * and press 1 2 3 4 then * (For Account code )
If other partitions must also be programmed the same telephone number and account codes will be done for location:
1. 52 and 62 for partition 2
2. 53 and 63 for partition 3
3. 54 and 64 for partition 4
4. 55 and 65 for partition 5
5. 56 and 66 for partition 6
6. 57 and 67 for partition 7
7. 58 and 68 for partition 8
Exit programming by pressing # #
Test system and notice that the dialer will click to dial and send information
NOTE THAT when a RDC VHF TX790 CID radio is being used only 4 partitions can report with 32 zones only. A GTX radio will report full contact id. The SMX and TX SMS radios will report full contact ID with maximum of 128 zones
